About

Following the latest merger and acquisition for the large multi-national organisation I was employed by, the organisation was changed which allowed me to fully evaluate my fifteen plus years career in the sector.   Facing going through the process of redundancy also left me at times feeling alienated, alone, angry, slightly depressed with few to turn to for advise, guidance and reassurance.

While there was a legal process to follow, I found little, if any human support on-line.  There was plenty of reference material for home study but I could not find any forums or similar, which I attributed to the fact that facing redundancy is perhaps a “taboo” subject, that no-one wants to discuss with others.

Having completed the redundancy process, this site was formulated, to allow others going through the process, or who suspect that they may soon be going through it the opportunity of joining like minded people to support, guide and network with others who are either in the exact same position, or have recently been through it, in order to make the whole process easier all round.

By using real life situations with real users, you will hopefully come out of the other side of redundancy as a person that knows themselves inside out, confident and ready to make the right decisions for you, your family, your future and prosperity.

Remember : It’s the role being made redundant, not you!
