Process

It’s very hard to contemplate that having given your everything to your employer, that it ends by being incorporated into the redundancy process.

However, the good news is that they process is usually a legal requirement, so it comes with some benefits and places to go should the process not be followed.

At the very least there needs to be a consultation period, notifying you that your role is at risk of redundancy.   During this the employer should be seen to be doing everything to avoid a redundancy situation.
