Remember you have been informed that your role within the Company is being made redundant and therefore it will not be needed in the future.
If you are asked to participate in any transition or hand over to a colleague alarm bells should start to ring. There is no legal requirement to do any transition nor hand over if you are being made redundant. In fact it could indicate a mockery of the whole redundancy procedure.
Remember to seek permission to backup any personal digital information that you may have been allowed to keep on Company computer systems.
If you have a Company mobile phone and have put personal contact details on there, take those details off the phone or you may lose them. The same goes for any photographs or other media on a mobile phone.
